While he is waiting for a sequel to Nightreichn and possibly for a sequel, a big surprise is again in the now emblematic Elden ring license, but it is exposed to a great obstacle.
In any case, we learned this from George RR Martin, whom we owe the tradition of Elden Ring and Hidetaka Miyazaki, President of From software, in recent interviews by the two characters. The idea of an adaptation in the film of the license has been made its way for some time, and the two men would not be against it. Despite some great reserves, things seem to be materialized now.
The world tree that hides the possibility of adapting Elden ring
After his status of one of the absolute video games bestseller from 2022, Eldenr Ring today enjoys a privileged status. However, the creation of such a masterpiece costs a lot of software. So much so that a sequel could never see the light of the day that the Japanese studio prefers to concentrate on games with more modest scale. However, this does not prevent it from growing the license through other prejudices. In particular, the cooperative exclusion, Nightreichn, will come on May 30, 2025. In the still uncertain future, the possibility of a film would also occur.
George RR Martin, as the origin of the tradition of Elden Ring, gave up in one case in an interview with IGN. “” “” I can't say too much, but an adaptation in the film is currently being discussed ». However, he brings an important reserve into this fascinating perspective, which Hidetaka Miyazaki, director of the game and software, shared in an interview with the Guardian. “” “” I see no reason to prevent the interpretation of this universe in a different media as a film. But neither I nor theft have the knowledge or the ability to do this. We need a partner in whom we have absolute trust ».
Above all, since the famous writer is also well staffed, especially alongside Game of Thrones, between the upcoming series and in particular a certain book that is expected more than a decade. “” “” We will see if a film is born Eldenr Ring and how much I will be involved. I've been late for a few years (It is an understatement, note of the publisher) In the winter winch for Game of Thrones, so that it limits my field of action ».
