To the disappointment of many players this week, there is no free game on the Epic Games Store, instead exclusive content for the publisher’s free-to-play. And next week?
In the past few years it has become a habit. Every Thursday afternoon the Epic Games Store is giving away a free game. However, the store is changing its habits this week and there will be some disappointments.
There is no free game on the Epic Games Store this week
Every week, PC g amers can go to the EGS to pick up a game or games without spending a single euro. Kind of a tough routine, but the creators of Fortnite are making an exception this time. In fact, there are no free games available this week. To highlight and celebrate the recent release of Rumbleverse, its new free-to-play game, Epic Games is offering content for the game.
Players can therefore grab the Boxeur Boum content pack for Brawler Royale from August 18th to 25th at 5pm French time. It includes a helmet, gloves, tank top, boxing shorts and shoes, among other things, as well as a fame booster with 120 minutes of play and an exclusive map background and border. Obviously, the players immediately expressed their disappointment.
What’s the free game next week?
Back to good old habits next week? Yes, from August 25th to August 1st there will be a free game on the Epic Games Storeis September at 5 p.m. French time. The return to normal will come with Ring of Pain. In this card game that combines roguelike and exploration of randomly generated circular dungeons, players must make decisions that could prove fatal. Planning your route well is crucial to defeating enemy creatures.
There are over 25 special dungeons, loot galore, terrifying environments, 50 creatures to master and over 300 objects to unlock. Again, this will be a highly rated free game and will be very well received by players. It will have the merit of catching up with the cold shower of the week.
