In 2023 we will have another great Advent calendar. We asked numerous hardware manufacturers and game publishers for prizes for our Advent calendar, where fantastic prizes with a total value of over 15,000 dollars can be won every day from December 1st to 24th, 2023!
What kind of prices are there? Of course, we won’t reveal in advance what prices await you in detail. But you can expect great prices from hardware manufacturers and game publishers. But there is still a small foretaste, because the winnings for the next day are already shown on the calendar overview.
How do I take part in the competition? To win one of the 24 prizes, all you have to do is fill out the entry form at the bottom of the daily calendar door!
A little hint: As a user logged in on GameStar.de or GamePro.de, it is not necessary to re-enter your data every time; our system enters it automatically, provided it has been stored in the user control center on our site.

Note on competition shipping: All data will only be collected for the competition and will be deleted afterwards. The prize will only be passed on to third parties when the prize is sent, either to the respective competition partner or, for physical delivery, to the prize’s shipping partner.

What’s included for GameStar Plus?
Like every year, all Plus users who take part in the calendar competition have a chance to win an additional prize. This year you can win a stylish PlayStation 5 disc version in Spider-Man 2 design.

Answer questions
Why do I get the message “You have already participated”?
Compared to the number of participants, this error only occurs to a small extent. According to our research, this has to do with the necessary spam protection against unwanted mass participation.
It can help to delete the cookies in the browser, change the browser or use a different Internet connection as a test (e.g. cell phone network instead of DSL/cable or vice versa). This error message usually appears when several participating users use the same IP address (university, shared apartment, family, etc.).
Where and when will the winners be announced?
We draw the winners for each week and announce them here in this article (in a table below) approximately every week.
The exception to this is the winners of the last week of Advent. Due to the Christmas holidays, these will probably not be drawn and announced until the first few weeks of the New Year.
This is followed by a personal notification of winnings to the email address you provided when you entered with details and sometimes questions about shipping (some prizes arrive via a shipping company due to their size).
What happens with my data?
The data provided will be processed and used electronically in compliance with the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) exclusively for the purposes of this competition. Further details can be found in our data protection declaration.
What should you take into account when participating from Switzerland?
Although these are clearly competition prizes, in our experience Swiss customs have no exceptions in this regard and charge significant additional payments (with fees sometimes up to approx. 10 percent of the value of the goods/RRP) for imports into Switzerland. Unfortunately, given the often very high values of individual winnings, we cannot cover this ourselves.
In order to still allow our valued users from Switzerland to take part, we have decided on the following procedure: If we draw a winner from Switzerland, we first ask them whether they are willing to accept the prize, even if they may incur customs fees has to pay back. If this is not the case, we will again draw a winner for that day.
Can I submit my participation later via email, Facebook, PM, etc.?
Unfortunately, no. For reasons of equal opportunities and feasibility, participation is only possible via the Advent calendar online form.
