James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) is rebuilding the DC Universe brick by brick in movies and television, but he has no plans to draw a line under the past.
After years of fighting the monster Marvel and its MCU, Warner Bros. Pictures realized that it could no longer go on. The production company is sitting on a goldmine and despite some excellent films, it is a failure for the DCU. Good news for this DC anti-heroine
Heads have been rolling ever since James Gunn and Peter Safran took over the reins of the DC Cinematic Universe. Margot Robbie can still play Harley Quinn
“I always wanted Harley Quinn to be a character that could be played by other actresses, like so many other iconic male characters. It was always the dream for her. Harley is so much fun and can go in so many different directions. When you give it to another actress, you wonder what she’s going to do with it. The possibilities are limitless »
The fact is that she can definitely come back any time she wants. James Gunn is more than open to the idea of working with Margot Robbie again, and it’s no wonder. The success of The Suicide Squad still largely relies on them, although unlike the 2016 version, Guardians of the Galaxy’s father managed to bring the other members of Task Force X into existence.
