When the current consoles from Microsoft and Sony were released, the console community couldn’t resist comparing their appearance to everyday objects or other devices.
The Playstation 5 looks like a router, the Xbox Series X like a refrigerator and the Series S like a stovetop. Microsoft itself probably celebrated the resulting memes and quickly made the Xbox refrigerator a reality.
Now it’s the turn of the Series S. Instead of a stovetop, however, there is something else: a toaster.
There it is: the official Xbox toaster
Just like the Xbox fridge, the Xbox toaster is real, genuine and official.
Microsoft describes the toaster as a “next generation toasting console” – a brand new combination of words, we would argue. The following gallery shows what it looks like:
The device can toast two slices at once and burns the Xbox logo onto your bread. Conveniently, there is a function for multiple profiles. This means that different family members or roommates can toast their bread individually and don’t have to change settings every time.
Other functions include a countdown timer, a pull-out tray for crumbs and an anti-clamp function so that your X-bread always pops out nicely.
Price and availability: The toaster went over yesterday without much notice Walmart published and distributed for a price of $40. It has already been sold over 1,000 times and is now sold out.
Anyone interested will have to wait for a second delivery. It is also not yet clear whether the Xbox toaster will also be available in this country.

What is your opinion on the Xbox Series S toaster? Would you buy it? What everyday items inspired by gaming hardware could be coming? Maybe the air conditioning in the RTX 4090 look? Maybe the Playstation 5 WiFi router? As always, please let us know in the comments!
