Big alien, big problem
What is Alien: Romulus about? The space colonizers Rain (Cailee Spaeny), Kay (Isabela Merced), Tyler (Archie Renaux), Andy (David Jonsson), Navarro (Aileen Wu) and Bjorn (Spike Fearn) discover a supposedly abandoned space station in space.
As they search for provisions, they discover that they are not alone. A race for life and death begins as the xenomorph seeks her life.

Where does the film fit in the Alien series? Alien: Romulus is the seventh part and takes place between Alien (1979) and the direct successor Aliens: The Return (1986).
In the director's chair was 46-year-old filmmaker Fede Álvarez, who also worked on the script. In the past he also wrote the scripts for films such as Evil Dead and Don't Breathe.
A successful and popular horror film
With an estimated budget of $80 million, Alien: Romulus grossed over $350.86 million at the worldwide box office (via Box Office Mojo). This means that the work is even considered that second most successful project in the film series. Ridley Scott's Prometheus – Dark Signs is still in first place.
On Rotten Tomatoes Alien: Romulus convinced sci-fi fans with 85 percent and critics with 79 percent. In the film database IMDb the menacing xenomorph receives 7.1 stars.
