Alien: The Dark Descent, a single-player squad-based action game developed by Tindalos Interactive and Focus Entertainment, has a release date.
Coming to consoles and PC, in the game you lead your soldiers in real time to stop a new Xenomorph outbreak on Moon Lethe.
In the game, you command a squad of Colonial Marines in real-time battles against Aliens, Facehuggers, Praetorians, Alien Queens, rogue agents from the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, and some new horrors from the Alien series .
Your task is to infiltrate large open levels and destroy the enemies with your squad. Enemies adapt to your tactics as they hunt you down, and death is permanent. Fortunately, there are shortcuts to discovery, the ability to create safe zones, and you can set motion trackers in a persistent world. All your actions will have a permanent effect on the game level.
You can also customize your troops and choose different classes, upgrade your soldiers and give them unique abilities. There will be an arsenal of weapons, armor, and perks, as well as a base to research new technologies and further improve your squad.
Alien: The Dark Descent launches June 20 (thanks Blue) for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
