Looks like 2024 will be a great year alien Fans, in addition to the upcoming prequel “Romulus”, a VR game is also coming soon.
You’d think that the world of Alien plus virtual reality would be a match made in heaven (or hell, I guess), but it turns out there’s no such game yet. Earlier this week, VR developer Survios announced Alien: Invasion, the first VR game set in the world of the classic horror movie series. “Alien: Roguelike fully immerses players in a harrowing VR journey deep into the Alien universe, including an all-new end-mission storyline that tests their mettle to survive the horrors of the ‘Perfect Organism’,” Wisdom and skill,” writes the game’s official description.
The single-player game will apparently be released for PlayStation VR2, PCVR on Steam, and Meta Quest 3, which will be released this holiday season. Specific story details haven’t been revealed yet, so who knows if it ties into the movie in any direct way or if it’s just its own standalone adventure.
