Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord has only been out for a day and yet it has already become the most successful launch of the year so far – almost 200,000 players dived into the medieval open world of Calradia on the day of the release.
However, it takes countless hours of playtime to work your way up from a simple citizen to a powerful ruler – no wonder that some players would like to speed up this process.

Cheats for faster and easier progress
With some cheats that were already included in the previous Mount & Blade: Warband, you can speed up your progress on the way to the throne of Calradia immensely.
To unlock them, you first have to activate the cheats in the config file:
- Starts Windows Explorer and navigates to the Documents directory.
- Go to the folder of Mount & Blade 2: Banner Lord.
- Opens the Configs subdirectory and here the file engine_config.txt.
- In the 14th line you should see the parameter cheat_mode = 0.
- Changes the 0 to a 1 to activate the cheats in the game.
The following key combinations should then be usable in the game to give you advantages:
- Ctrl + H: Heals your character completely.
- Ctrl + left click: Teleports you on the world map to the clicked point.
- Ctrl + Shift + H: Heals your horse completely.
- Ctrl + F3: Kills a random enemy.
- Ctrl + F4: Strikes a random opponent unconscious.
Attention: In order to use the cheats, you may have to start a new game. In addition, of course, they only work in single player mode.
