Subscribers to Amazon Prime will also get some games on top of that in August 2021: In the past, there were often small indie games for free, but recently some very big names have been on the program. Battlefield 1 is available until August 4th for permanent backup. The latest Battlefield 5 will follow from August 2nd to October 1st.
There is also a true classic: the 1992 LucasArts title Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. This literal “Indy game” will also be included in the Prime Gaming promotion from August 2nd.
How to get the games: You need a subscription to Amazon Prime. New customers get a free month before they pay EUR 7.99 per month. On the Prime Gaming website you can claim the games, in the case of Battlefield 5 you will receive an Origin key. The game is then permanently yours, even if you cancel the Amazon subscription immediately afterwards.

Battlefield 5
Genre: Ego-Shooter | Release: 20. November 2018 | Offer is valid from: August 2nd to October 1st
The latest Battlefield offshoot leads the series back to its origins, that is, to World War II. In the visually impressive Battlefield 5 you fight in rather unknown locations such as snowy Scandinavia or the winding streets of Rotterdam.
With the Pacific War, Battlefield 5 also offers a sunnier scenario, which also includes popular map classics such as Wake Island and Iwo Jima. The Pacific scenario in particular was well received by fans of the series.
Overall, Battlefield 5 fell short of expectations from critics. Above all, the slow flow of new content ensured that many players turned their backs on the shooter. Support with new maps and modes was discontinued in June 2020.
Nevertheless, it can be worthwhile to take a look at Battlefield 5 again, especially for free. On Steam alone, around 10,000 players are currently active on average, which, together with the pure Origin users, should ensure that the server is full.
Our test shows how good Battlefield 5 is despite the many errors on the part of developer DICE:

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
Genre: Point&Click Adventure | Release: June 1992 | Offer is valid from: August 2nd to October 1st
The classic Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is also set at the time of World War II. In the role of Indy himself, we click our way through a funny and exciting story.
Developer LucasArts (Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle) and the SCUMM engine used were the ultimate in point & click in the nineties – which was still one of the most popular PC game genres at the time.
