The spookiest time of the year has started again! Only fitting that Amazon Prime Video in October 2022 introduces a few new movies and TV series that are all about monsters and other horror nonsense – such as IT Chapter 2, Godzilla vs. Kong or Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride. We give you an overview.

Highlights at Amazon Prime Video in October 2022
Godzilla vs. Kong: Are you in the mood for really stupid kaiju action again, where you shouldn’t think too much and, above all, question the logic of what’s happening on screen? Then you should mark October 29th in your calendar. As of this writing, Godzilla vs. Kong is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, and you can watch a giant lizard bash an oversized monkey and vice versa from the comfort of your own home.
Director Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs. Kong, of course, continues Gareth Edward’s Godzilla, Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ Kong: Skull Island and Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla 2: King of the Monsters. Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown stars in the monster brawl, which originally opened in theaters on March 25, 2021.

Corpse Bride: On October 28, directors Tim Burton and Mike Johnson’s Corpse Bride, a true horror and stop-motion classic, lands in the Amazon Prime Video streaming library. The film’s story takes place in eerily beautiful England in the 19th century, when Victor is about to be married off to a stranger, Victoria.
Victor, however, cannot accept marrying a stranger for reasons of money and morals. At this point we don’t want to reveal too much about the plot. Just this much: Due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, Victor accidentally proposes to the late Emily. As a result, he is drawn into the realm of the dead and must somehow pull himself out of the affair while investigating a conspiracy that is endangering not only himself but also his family.
