Neuer Agent »Yoru«
Yoru’s role is that of a duelist, an offensive player who gets a lot of questions, but also creates tactical distractions and confuses opponents. The new agent should excel especially with the covert play style. His skills help him:
Imitation (Taste C): Yoru equips an Echo which, when activated, imitates steps. Players send the echo straight to the front or place it in one place to be sent later remotely. Opponents then think someone is moving across the map.
Surprise visit (key E): The player equips a rift anchor that can be sent forward or placed. When activated, Yoru teleports to the anchor position.
Take by surprise (Q key): Yoru’s Riss-Anker tears a piece of reality and hurls it forward. After bouncing off a hard surface, after a brief charge, it creates a flash of lightning that blinds any players looking inside.
Dimensionsriss (Taste X): His ultimate ability gives Yoru a mask with which he can drift into another dimension. Here he is invisible and unassailable for a limited time.

New Battle Pass
Episode 2, Act 1 of Valorant starts as usual with a new battle pass. As before, it costs 1,000 Valorant Points (VP), which corresponds to around ten dollars. The new Battle Pass from Valorant is running from January 12th to March 1st, 2021.
If you pay, you unlock a number of goodies by playing, such as weapon skins, banners and radianite points, with which you can beautify purchased skins. In addition to the paid content in the Battle Pass, hard-working free players will also receive a few gifts.
New skin pack
This package is kind of “Best of” with popular older skins and is called »Run it back«. The price is just under 60 dollars. It contains the following weapon designs as a basic version without any special effects:
- Ghost – Sovereign
- Phantom – They
- Specter – Premium
- Ares – Nebula
- Operator – Spline
In order to unlock the visual effects such as finisher and animations, you have to invest the second currency Radianit points, which can be obtained through Battle Pass Grind or for additional real money.
The Free2Play game Valorant has faced a lot of criticism from players in the past because of the high skin prices. A particularly lavishly animated ultra-skin package cost a whopping 100 dollars as the basic version. Nevertheless (or maybe because of it) Valorant even beat the extremely successful Fortnite in terms of revenue in June 2020.
