Once again, Baldur’s Gate 3 has received a new small patch that will fix some quite problematic bugs. This should benefit the gaming experience.
Yes, we are here to talk to you again about Baldur’s Gate 3. What do you want, Larian Studios is watching the RPG so closely that we have to keep you updated. For those currently playing it, or others still hesitant to get started, it must be reassuring to see that the studio is aware of the feedback. He does his best to make the insects disappear as quickly as possible. Therefore, it is no surprise that a new update has been rolled out. There are touch-ups on the menu that will certainly relieve more than one person.
Baldur’s Gate 3 provides Hotfix 21, what changes?
Hotfix 21 has officially arrived on PC, PS5 and Mac. As usual with these types of updates, we are not dealing with a huge list of changes. However, there are still a certain number to consider. The company never lets up, and that’s good to see. We’ll start with one of the biggest parts of the patch, a bug that affects a very specific functionality. Now you can once again send items to companions in a specific camp, even if you are not there. It’s definitely less boring.
In general, this hotfix is responsible for fixing minor bugs and crashes that may occur under certain conditions. For example, there was a bug that could happen when changing characters in the Creation menu. It’s a detail, but it’s never pleasant to be interrupted in the middle of a game because of it. Additionally, it is no longer possible to save credits at startup. Yes, it’s a fun idea at first, but it could have pretty annoying consequences for your Baldur’s Gate 3 save.
The remaining changes mainly concern the UI, incorrectly triggered scripts and gameplay. We won’t give you the full list here, but you can find it on steam. As you can see, Hotfix 20 and 21 should be available on Xbox soon. Right now the platform is being abandoned due to a very specific major bug that absolutely needs to be fixed. Testing is underway and we just have to wait patiently to find out more.
