Once a year there is an Amazon sale exclusively for Prime customers, like last time this year on July 12th and 13th. According to rumors, a second event will be added in October. A press release from Amazon makes it clear: This Rumors have been confirmed.
On October 11th and 12th, 2022, there will again be special offers for Prime customers, which will run under the banner “Prime Early Access Sale” in America and thus leave the name “Prime Day” behind. In Europey it will probably run under the name “Prime Exclusive Offers”.
The former Prime Day will run under this banner this year.

New name – otherwise almost everything the same
Except for the name change, there aren’t many new items in the Prime Early Access Sale. As always, there are heavily reduced items from all sorts of categories, especially in the tech area you will be able to strike some bargains.
The only real novelty will be a top 100 with popular and “giftable” items that have been bought the most in the last season.
There is no exact information on the offers yet, but Amazon has mentioned some brands that will appear prominently in the sale. Among others, products from LEGO, Hasbro, KitchenAid, Adidas, Samsung and many more will be on offer. Smart TVs and Alexa devices are also specifically mentioned in the press release. Apart from that, many other Amazon products such as Fire TV sticks, Kindle readers or Echo speakers will also be on sale.
At the beginning of October it should be worthwhile for Prime customers to take a closer look at the offers.
In general, it will be worth keeping an eye out for things in the tech, smart home, home office, and gaming sectors, especially if you’ve had a specific device in mind for a long time. Some of the games themselves will also be heavily discounted. Especially with games for the console, which sometimes cost up to 80 dollars, you can increase your library without damaging your bank account too much.
So if you plan to get new hardware for your PC or a new TV in the near future, it might be worth waiting another two weeks.
Use the sale properly with a free Amazon Prime subscription
As previously mentioned, this sale will only be available to Prime customers. If you don’t have an active Prime subscription, it might be worth using one free trial month to think about, which gives you access to all the benefits of the Prime subscription.
