We start with dark man, an action/horror film released in 1990. He follows Peyton Westlake, a genius geneticist working on the synthesis of skin cells. Our scientist is in a relationship with Julie Hastings, a lawyer defending real estate developer Strack. The latter receives a confidential document proving the company’s actions and decides to hide it in her companion’s office. Louis Strack Jr., head of the company, sends mercenaries there to recover this valuable document. Our protagonist finds himself on the screen and left to die. Disfigured, Peyton uses her knowledge of synthetic skin to get her face back. In his thirst for revenge, he is determined to make his attackers pay for it.

Evil Dead – the trilogy

Competing for a promotion, our protagonist has to be tougher to get it. A mysterious elderly person named Mrs. Ganush then comes to the bank and asks Christine for an extra loan. Our heroine, determined to get the promotion and following her boss’s advice, refuses to give that credit. Ms. Ganush, feeling humiliated, puts a curse on the young woman and turns our banker’s peaceful life into a veritable hell. The gates of the afterlife have just opened in the city of angels.

the fantastic world of Oz, published in 2013, is the adaptation of the novel The Wonderful Land of Oz by Lyman Frank Baum which was published in 1904. It is a prequel to the film The Wizard of Oz directed by Victor Fleming and released in 1939. Oscar Diggs is a small circus magician without a large stature. Our hero is transported to the mysterious land of Oz in his hot air balloon. Arriving at the scene of the crime, the magician sees it as the chance of a lifetime, the opportunity to achieve what he loves most. His destiny changes overnight and an extraordinary future awaits him. This fantastic family film touched young and old alike.

The penultimate film in this selection is a 1995 Western titled Dead or alive alias The fast and the dead in English. A $123,000 tournament is held every year in the City of Salvation, but it’s not like the others. These are actually duels of life and death to choose the best marksman. To date, only one man has emerged victorious from these conflicts, Herod, the lord of the city.
