The new free video games of Epic Games Store. This week the digital store gives its users two disparate but equally enjoyable titles: on the one hand we have Amnesia: The Dark Descent, the acclaimed horror game from Frictional Games, and on the other Crashlands, a crazy action adventure in outer space.
Both games can be downloaded for free from the Epic Games Storewhere will they be available from today until next May 7 at 5:00 p.m. (peninsular time).
Amnesia: The Dark Descent is one of the most acclaimed first-person horror video games of recent times. Its original premiere was in 2010. In it we put ourselves in the shoes of Daniel, a young man from London who wakes up disoriented in the middle of an abandoned castle. He is not alone, something or someone is chasing him, and to flee he has to descend through the ins and outs of the building in a Lovecraftian allegation of madness.
Crashlands, one of the best video games of 2016 according to TIME magazine, is an action RPG with a humorous plot that carries the weight of experience. In it we take the role of Flux Dabes, an intergalactic trucker who finds her workday frustrated by an alien race that ends up leaving her abandoned on an unknown planet.
New game for next week: Death Coming
In addition to these two games, Epic Games Store has announced that next week it will offer free Death Coming, a curious non-linear puzzle game where we control the Grim Reaper in their daily gathering of souls, trying to achieve the maximum possible always with a creative point of view. This title developed by NExT Studios can be downloaded for free from the Epic Games Store from May 7 to 14
It should be remembered that Epic Games has activated an additional requirement to redeem the free games of its weekly promotion: Whoever wants to get hold of them from the company's digital store will need to have two-step authentication enabled: "We are making this change in an effort to encourage our players to take action, in order to strengthen the security of your Epic account", they explained recently from the company.
