Netflix is opening its doors to one of the most iconic video game licenses in history with a hugely popular film, something that will delight children of all ages.
The Netflix catalog is growing rapidly. This month, the SVOD platform announced the arrival of a pretty crazy amount of films and series. On the series side, some big hits are sure to drop Sweet home or Cobra Kaiwhich will start its last season in July. But films are not neglected either, as there are also very big blockbusters The Movie of Beverly Hills 4 or even cult films like Oh mom!. And among all this we find a feature film that caused a lot of excitement when it was announced and released, as it highlights one of the most iconic characters in video games.
The world’s most famous plumber is coming to Netflix!
Timeless overalls, hat and moustache, we are of course talking about Mario, who appears with his film on Netflix Super Mario Bros. An animated film that was a hit when it was released in cinemas. A worldwide success, despite the ridicule over the dubbing of Chris Pratt, who voices the plumber. Nintendo has happily even announced the production of a second film. So the license has been well received in cinemas and will soon impress us again.
But first it’s Super Mario Bros. First name finally available on Netflix. There we find good old Mario, who is catapulted by circumstances to the famous Mushroom Kingdom. With his courage he will help Princess Peach to face Bowser and his henchmen to free the land.
A film for the whole family, as colourful as it is hilarious and, above all, full of Easter eggs. Whether you’re avid fans of the franchise or curious newbies, we definitely highly recommend it.
