Lethal Company is currently offering a brand new content update in beta that includes some terrifying news. We’ll explain everything to you.
The game Lethal Company has just received a major update that brings exciting and scary elements to players. This new update, already available as a beta on Steam, brings new monsters and the very first vehicle to the game, offering a new gameplay dynamic.
Lethal Company adds content
The big new addition in this update is the Company Cruiser. A transporter that allows players to transport salvaged materials from the facility to their ship. This vehicle is also useful for destroying hostile entities or annoying teammates. Currently, it is the only vehicle available in the game, but it radically changes the way you play by making it easier to transport resources.
Two new monsters appear in the game, adding an extra dose of terror. The first, called “The Barber,” is a blue clay figure equipped with an oversized pair of scissors. This monster becomes invisible when it’s out of your line of sight, and can teleport to get closer to players. It follows the orders of a leader called “Master Barber,” whose drumming sounds can indicate an impending attack. The Barber often travels in pairs, making encounters even more dangerous.
The second monster, the Kidnapper Fox, hides in red bushes called the Vain Shroud and attacks isolated players. Instead of killing immediately, it uses its tongue to grab its prey and drag it to a Vain Shroud where it is disposed of. To escape this monster, it is advisable to pick up a weapon and hit him quickly to make him let go. However, killing him requires many hits, which makes the task difficult.
The update, which is currently in beta testing, will allow players to discover and test these new features. Solo developer Zeekerss said he will work on improvements and fixes based on player feedback before officially deploying the update.
