Google is supposed to revise the “Notifications” area once again with Android 12. We’ll tell you how these should look in the future.
- Google is supposed to revise the notification stack with Android 12.
- You should be able to see more easily how many notifications from an app you have received.
- In addition, better use is made of the space in the notification bar.
Android 12 is already in the works, but the US company Google does not publish any official information about the new operating system yet. Presumably the OS will be at the developer conference Google I / O presents. Due to the corona pandemic, the event had to be canceled last year, this year the event will take place digitally from May 18th to 21st.
However, a few pieces of information have already reached the net. The tech blog AndroidPolice reports that with Android 12, Google should give the notification stack in the notification bar a new look. The space should be used better, and you should also be able to see better how many notifications you have received per application.
With the previous operating system Android 11 the number of notifications was displayed in the lower right corner. Now this moves to the upper right corner and looks more elegant.
It is currently uncertain whether the appearance will remain the same or whether it will change with the final version. In May the first “public” beta of Android 12 appear. A finished version can be expected in the fall, provided Google adheres to the current schedule.
