Android 13 apparently still contains bugs. As can be read online, some cell phones can no longer be charged wirelessly after the update. These models are affected.
Google released Android 13 a few days ago. The update had previously been tested for a long time, but the developers apparently missed an error. Because reports are increasing online that some pixel smartphones can no longer be charged wirelessly after the update.
As 9to5Google reported that the problem mainly occurs on the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL, but the Pixel 5 and the Pixel 6 (Pro) are also occasionally affected. According to the reports, the cell phones either do not start charging at all or only charge for a few minutes even though they are not yet full.
So far there is no known solution to the problem. Those affected are advised to switch back to Android 12, although this is no longer possible from the Pixel 6 after the update.
