A wave of updates will be coming your way before Christmas. Many manufacturers such as Samsung, Huawei and Apple are distributing new versions of Android and iOS.

• Shortly before Christmas, many manufacturers provide updates for smartphones, smartwatches and tablets.

Huawei

Huawei distributes a new update for the Mate 10 Lite. The three-year-old cell phone not only receives a more up-to-date security patch, but also new functions. The Android and EMUI version remain the same.

Xiaomi

Xiaomi distributes a new firmware with the version number v1.0.2.46 for the Mi Band 5. The update includes support for 24-hour sleep tracking and new languages.

Samsung

Samsung released the third Android 11 beta for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. Bug fixes are included in the update. The final version of Android 11 and One UI 3.0 will be distributed in January 2021.

Apple

The US company Apple distributes the last update in 2020. The update wave includes iOS, iPadOS and tvOS 14.3. You also get watchOS 7.2 for the Smartwatch Apple Watch and the new macOS 11.1 for your computer.
