Valheim had already appeared in the lands of Xbox Game Pass on PC, but now the Iron Gate title has made the definitive leap to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The multiplayer work allows us to explore a huge open world both alone and in the company of nine other players, all inspired by the always attractive norse mythology
Even still in early access you can find a huge amount of content. Here we play a dead warrior who has been taken by the Valkyries to the tenth Nordic kingdom, which is plagued by monsters and creatures whose goal is to destroy the gods. The king of all of them is Odin and your duty is to annihilate them all to prove your worth as a defender of the divinities.
The possibilities of Valheim are almost endless., being able to build huge Viking houses, fortified bases and impregnable buildings. In skilled hands, we have been able to see colossal buildings like the Harry Potter Quidditch field, although you have to be careful when collecting resources. Growing vegetables, preparing food, making tools, boats, potions and a huge variety of objects are the daily bread.
Of course, each game is different, because the tenth world is procedurally generated so that we come across unique biomes. The combat system is based on resistance and rewards both skill and preparation before launching into battle. Of course, the bosses are very tough, having to face beings of the caliber of Eikthyr, The Elder, Bonemass, Moder or Yaglyth.
