Ubisoft is sticking to Anno 1800, which was released in 2019, and is now promising more content as part of a fourth season. These focus, among other things, on agriculture, aviation and a new social class.
Fans of Anno 1800 can look forward to the new Season 4 Pass that Ubisoft announced today and that can be pre-ordered now. As part of the next wave of content for the long-running strategy game, you’ll be getting three more DLC packs: Seed of Hope, Realm of the Air, and Rise of the New World. Additionally, the Season Pass includes three exclusive ornaments available starting April 12th.
On the same date, the first DLC of the new season will be released with “Keim der Hoffnung”. In it you will be able build powerful haciendas in the New World and own your own estate to produce agricultural goods. The focus is on maximizing productivity, establishing island politics and strengthening the independence of the residents by growing goods that previously had to be imported. The Silver Cage scenario challenges you to build a complex silver production chain from scratch while dealing with changing weather conditions.
In the summer of 2022 it will continue with “Reich der Luft”; the pack brings new ways to use airships. Whether transporting mail, goods and workers or even dogfights – the sky will noticeably expand your possibilities in the future. The conclusion then marks the end of 2022 “Rise of the New World”. This DLC includes a brand new citizen tier and more islands. More information about each DLC will be announced in the weeks leading up to each release.
If you don’t yet own a main game, there are two new Season 4 editions available from today:
- Visionary Edition: Includes the base game, the Deluxe Pack and all 4 Season Passes
- Gold Edition Year 4: Includes the base game, the Deluxe Pack and the Season 4 Pass
In addition to the paid DLC packages, there are also free updates with further improvements for all players.
