As announced this morning, Ubisoft presented the console version of Anno 1800 in more detail in a stream. This now also has a concrete release date – and that’s not too far away.
If you want to play the strategy epic Anno 1800 from Ubisoft on consoles, you don’t have to wait much longer. The previously announced implementations for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S have finally received the long-awaited release date today.
The best-selling game in the entire franchise to date now has more than 2.5 million players – and from March 16, 2023, several console gamers on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will be added. These too can then demonstrate their leadership skills, establish metropolises, set up logistics networks and colonize an exotic new continent.
Ubisoft Mainz is responsible for the development of the console version, i.e. the same studio that developed the original PC version. This has completely redesigned the user interface for consoles and adapted the controls.
Anyone who wants to strike can now pre-order the console edition in two different versions:
- The standard version includes the base game and major game updates.
- The deluxe version includes the base game, major game updates, and three cosmetic packs: the Pedestrian Zone, the Faire Pack, and Busy Cities.
Early purchasers can also enjoy the Console Imperial and Founder’s Packs, which include additional cosmetic bonuses as well as the digital artbook and soundtrack. In addition, all cosmetic DLCs are also available for purchase.
