Xbox Game Pass January 2023 just added a new one that just came out to everyone’s surprise. This is a colorful title at the crossroads of rhythm game and action.
January 2023’s Xbox Game Pass was something of a cold shower for many subscribers. Not because of the quality of the games or notable releases, but solely because of the amount of games added. After a month of December with just one wave, players were hoping for a more generous start to the year. Until then, they had to settle for six novelties, including Monster Hunter Rise, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona 4 Golden once they released on Xbox Series, One, and PC. Microsoft had nevertheless warned that it was “just a warm-up”. The American publisher used its Xbox Developer Direct conference to pull off a nice surprise.
Hi-Fi Rush will be coming to Xbox Game Pass in January 2023
Microsoft showed off its upcoming Xbox Series, One and PC games during its Xbox Developer Direct. A first Showcase that gave pride of place to titles like Redfall or Forza Motorsport, but not only. The green brand used the event to showcase the new Xbox Game Pass additions after a less-than-usual month of January. Rumors gave hope for the arrival of big games, including Cyberpunk 2077. A far cry from The Evil Within and the studio’s usual horror games, this new Xbox Game Pass is presented as an experience that combines rhythm and action, where the world moves to the rhythm of the music. You play as Chai, an aspiring rock star who must battle a sinister society of robotic upgrades while staying in sync with the music and environmental movements. The gameplay is therefore dependent on the music, whether it is your punches or your dodges. In Hi-Fi Rush, each clash gives you the chance to shoot your own music video if you make sure your movements sync with the music.
The last games of January and February have been revealed
As a surprise never comes alone, Microsoft has immediately revealed the full list of the second wave of Xbox Game Pass games for January 2023. Five new titles will therefore be available in the coming days, including the highly anticipated GoldenEye 007.
