Apex Legends still does not include the interaction between users who play games on different platforms, but developer Respawn Entertainment said it thinks the feature is "important."
The studio's general manager Dusty Welch and game director Chad Grenier talked about the "apex legend" in an interview with Game Informer (via comics) The potential of cross-play. Although they did not disclose when or even we will see the console cross-play, Welch did say that this is an "important thing."
Welch said: "I think in cross competitions this is what the industry expects and is important for games like ours." "Chad and I are obviously loyal advocates of playing games at work and in our spare time-we Going home on Friday or weekend, hoping to play with each other, and we are using different systems.
"Personally, yes, we are happy to do this and meet at the weekend. I think this is a very important thing."
Last year, we talked to Respawn's design director Mackey McCandlish on this topic. McCandlish described the cross-play as something the Apex Legends team was interested in, but said at the time that the cross-play function would not be provided in the initial release window.
"Crossover competition is definitely an opportunity; it is not something that was launched from the beginning." "This is definitely something we realize and are interested in. I am not sure whether we have had a specific conversation. Now it is like:" Let us Start the game. "
