The new season in Apex Legends will start shortly and on the way there EA and Respawn are constantly releasing new information. Today you can see the first gameplay.
Developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher EA jointly provided first gameplay insights into the new season of the long-running Apex Legends. The new season is known to be called “Escape” and is scheduled to start next week on November 2nd, 2021.
Thematically, this will lead you deep into the oceans of Gaia and has, among other things, the new map “Storm Point” to offer. With Ash there will be a new legend and also a new Wumme is on board. In keeping with the gameplay trailer, the creators have also published an official overview of all the important innovations of the fresh season:
- New map – storm point: It’s picturesque, but the pristine beaches and crystal clear waters are just the eye of a storm. There are tons of fierce prowlers as well as a new breed of hostile swarm of venomous spiders, and the approaching storm adds to the tension in the air. Legends have arrived and will find new ways to explore the various POIs on the map. This includes archipelagos, camps in the jungle and a base in a huge mountain, the highest accessible location that has been on a map of Apex Legends so far.
- New Legend – Ash: A simulacrum of the woman who was once Dr. Ashleigh Reed was. Ash recognizes death everywhere, seizes opponents with electric traps that immobilize them and creates cracks in the room, which claims further victims.
- New weapon – CAR-MP: A flexible weapon that can fire light and heavy ammunition. The “Combat Advanced Round” submachine gun is fully automatic and has a decent recoil – some legends are sure to remember the past of this weapon.
In addition, the new season will of course bring a new Battle Pass with limited skins and rewards that you can unlock. To do this, you have to master the corresponding challenges and advance through the levels.
