There is a major revision for the Battle Royale long-running Apex Legends. However, this is still a long time coming.
Apex Legends is an absolute long-running favorite in the Battle Royale genre. To keep the players on the shelf, a larger revision is now apparently planned. Andrew Wilson, CEO of Publisher Electronic Arts, showed through this on the occasion of the announcement of current business figures.
In a briefing, Wilson gave the best that a comprehensive updates for the title of respawn entertainment are in the works, which will significantly change the gaming experience as a whole. The development of the game also plays a role in this.
“The development of the business of this franchise has recently not been in the direction that we are striving for,” Wilson admitted. “We therefore believe that a time comes to which we have to broaden a much more important update for APEX and the gaming experience – and the team is already working hard on it.”
However, according to the CEO, it is unlikely that this large update will still appear in the development phase of the new Battlefield or around its launch. After Battlefield 6 has recently received a release period, this means in relation to Apex Legends: until the revision appears, months will pass.
The expectations of Apex Legends are still high. The franchise is able to continue to increase the number of players continuously. In the long term, the large update APEX 2.0 should cause a sensation.
