The recently released Apex Legends mobile spin-off is entering its first season. We tell you here what awaits you in “Cold Snap”.
EA and Respawn Entertainment announce Season 1 of Apex Legends Mobile. Less than a month after its launch, you can now throw yourselves into the first fresh content in “Coldsnap” – just like the more than 23 million other players of the spin-off worldwide.
The Season introduces a new legend in the pool, Loba, and also offers you the chilling city conquering “Air Conditioner”. Built by Hammond, this landing module is located just above the train depot in World’s Edge. It can change the climate at certain POIs, bringing an early winter – along with a new frosty grenade. The Air Conditioner turns on and off as the game progresses, blanketing parts of World’s Edge in snow and offering you some frosty rewards. When the air conditioner is activated, you can check your mini-map for frozen loot containers to collect diamonds and use them to buy rare items in the seasonal store. Killed opponents can also carry diamonds.
However, you will receive Loba when you reach Battle Pass level 25 or unlock it in the store. Legend progression brings new benefits for Loba players, including the ability to claim badges from other players. The update is rounded off by a Battle Pass – in a free and a premium version.
