Apex Legends is getting its first fresh event of the new year – and it's bringing back Original Royale!
In the first event of the young year 2025, Respawn Entertainment is bringing back Original Royale with some new twists on the long-running hit Apex Legends. In the limited mode you can play with classic weapons, legends, skills and rules on the current maps of the Battle Royale mode. King's Gorge, Edge of the World, Olympus, Storm Point, Destroyed Moon and E District are playable.
There are also new skins and event rewards to be won. As part of the Astral Anomaly event, there are 15 limited-time cosmetic items and bonus rewards, including exotic shards and the “Archonaut” and “Dark Horizon” skins from Alter and Horizon.
You can also earn bytes for completing daily event challenges and exchange them in the Astral Anomaly Reward Shop.
“Astral Anomaly” is the next event in the battle royale hit Apex Legends.
