Apex Legends started in digital form as a free-to-play title, but some still prefer to use a box version, in this case not only to put such a box on the shelf, but also to dust off exclusive goodies. With the Octane Edition, a new offer has been officially launched.

If you want to get some goodies for Apex Legends or just want to put a classic boxed version on the shelf, you can now take advantage of the new Octane Edition of the Battle Royale success. This extends the ranks of the box versions of the game that are already available and offers you a few extras compared to the digital free-to-play version.
The Octane Edition – which is even available as a digital version with only the extras – is now available for PS4, Xbox One and PC (via Origin); the commercial version is available from "selected retailers" without EA having specifically named it in the press release.
Why Octane Edition? The focus is on the character Octavio "Octane" Silva, who had bionic legs made after losing both legs with a grenade. Since then he has been moving faster than ever. In the new edition, which costs you 19.99 euros, you get the following bonuses around the character:
- Legendary spider sprint skin for Octane
- Legendary spider skin for electric rifle
- Weapon Talisman “Violet Widow”
- Exclusive toxic badge
- 1,000 apex coins
Most recently, Apex Legends has now entered the fourth season called "Assimilation". The game also recently celebrated its first birthday since its release last year.
