Apex Legends has recently entered the fourth season called "Assimilation", but the makers of Respawn Entertainment are by no means resting. Dataminer have already found an upcoming Valentine's Day event.

With the start of Season 4 including a new Battle Pass and Revenant as a character, there is a lot of new content for players of the battle royale hit Apex Legends, but Respawn Entertainment does not want to let any form of boredom arise. This is the conclusion of the findings of Dataminers, who have taken a closer look at the latest patch from Apex Legends.
There is already evidence of an upcoming Valentine's Day event that will enrich the multiplayer shooter in February. The new content includes fresh weapon tags, a badge, new character briefs and a special Valentine's Day gift.

Most important for the players are the two charms for the weapons in the game. These extensions can already be found completely finished in the files. One is a little Nessy, the Dinosaur Easter Egg from the past of Respawn, the second shows Cupid personally with a small bow and arrow. As part of the quips for the different protagonists, you can expect at least 20 new sound files.
It is still unclear what the gift in question will be, because it is not yet specified in the files. All gamers who simply log in to Apex Legends during the event period should receive this.

An additional skin for the new character Revenant has already been officially announced, and is available to all players who link their accounts to their Twitch Prime account. Have you done that, you can secure the skin "Gilded Rose" for Revenant, which you can also examine in the tweet above. The skin will be available until March 19, 2020.
Apex Legends is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One; a mobile implementation is in progress.
