Augmented Reality will touch everything in our lives
. Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, is convinced of this. In a speech at the University Federico II in Naples the Apple boss predicted a great future for technology.
Cook had already expressed his enthusiasm for augmented reality (AR) several times and indicated that Apple was also working on AR products. And the CEO is not alone in his opinion that AR will be a big pillar of our tech future.
Just a few months ago we reported on the Californian startup Mojo Lens, which put the first functional AR contact lens into operation. Their boss then said he had seen the future

Augmented Reality is set to become as important as the Internet
If Tim Cook has his way, AR will soon be as important in our society as the internet is today. AR will be all encompassing and people will wonder how they lived without augmented reality.
His speech at the university could have been even better with AR. This is what he means: I’m extremely excited about augmented reality because I think we had a great conversation here today. But if we could augment it virtually, it probably would have been even better.
According to Cook, it won’t be long before the time has come and we’ll be holding virtual extended rounds of talks. With that, Cook ventures far ahead and makes a strong prediction. Nevertheless, his opinion should cause less turbulence than the last time we reported on the Apple CEO.

How about AR products from Apple
There is almost no question that Apple itself is already working on at least one AR product. The rumors about the headsets Reality Pro
and Reality One
are manifold. The headsets should combine AR and VR (Virtual Reality) and thus stand out from previous headsets and glasses.
More exciting than the question about that ob
if. Many experts expected to see the first information at Apple’s hardware event last month. But there, AR was not mentioned at all. A presentation and possibly a release can therefore be expected in 2023 at the earliest. But then Apple could go all out with AR and VR. Because at least the CEO of the group seems to be convinced of the importance of the technologies.
What Apple might be planning in the near future is all well and good. But you’d rather know what the IT giant from Cupertino is offering now? Then our overview of Apple’s newly introduced hardware is just right for you.
