- However, the sensor technology is apparently not yet mature, which is why Apple will probably do without the integration.
Rumors are piling up about the upcoming iPhone 15. Recently it was considered certain that the next smartphone model would rely on new sensor keys and that Apple would say goodbye to the classic mute switch and volume keys.
How 9to5Mac reported, it could now be different. Instead of the solid-state buttons with haptic feedback, the manufacturer should continue to use the classic version – at least for the upcoming model.
This was announced by the analysts Jeff Pu and Ming-Chi Kuo. Accordingly, the new technology is not yet fully mature, so Apple has decided not to integrate it into the iPhone 15. So everything could remain the same optically – at least with the keys.
