The promises made by the developers for Asgard’s Wrath 2 are epic, to say the least. They describe the role-playing game as the “biggest, most epic ARPG ever made for VR”. Uffff, big words.
The basic gameplay is not dissimilar to that of its predecessor. You have to face numerous puzzles and quests, craft new items, transform animals and companions and of course you fight tons of gods and other magical enemies. The playtime is definitely not bad either, according to Sanzaru Games it should keep you busy for around 60 hours, which “sets a new standard for wireless VR”.
In terms of story, you go in search of Loki, the god of practical jokes. This threatens to destroy the entire universe. To stop him, you choose from four heroes, each with their own weapons and skills.
When will this supposed masterpiece of a VR role-playing game actually be released? The studios still owe us an exact release date at the moment, we are only talking about winter 2023.
