Assassin's Creed is given a new board game implementation, which has now appeared on Kickstarter.
With Assassin's Creed Shadows, Ubisoft finally delivered properly in the video game area – and now the franchise obviously wants to score elsewhere. With “Assassin's Creed Animus”, Mantic Games has announced a new board game implementation of the Assassin franchise. The expectations are quite large, as Mantic Games is also responsible for the excellent implementation “Halo Flashpoint”.
So now the world of Assassin's Creed should conquer the living room in board game format. You use a variety of characters from various historical epochs established in the video games. The makers describe the game as “exciting and competitive board game, which includes several historical eras from the popular games”.
There are no concrete details about the gameplay yet, you can see from the fact that 2 to 4 players can frolic in a game. In addition, decisions made are said to have an impact on the gameplay and a game in “Assassin's Creed Animus” will take between 40 and 90 minutes.
There should then be tangible information with the official start of the Kickstarter campaign, because the board game via crowdfunding should be financed. The corresponding website is already online and delivers at least some graphics around the implementation. Otherwise, the financing campaign should start at some point in the further course of 2025.
