the first time you really see Texas Chainsaw Massacre It came out today during the Expanded Xbox Game Showcase.
The first gameplay from the third-person asymmetric horror experience was showcased at today’s Xbox Game Showcase Extended during the first day of using Game Pass on Xbox and Windows PC.
During the game, college student Maria Flores goes missing, and the search by local law enforcement stalls. Her sister Anna joins forces with some of Maria’s friends to find her.
Based on the iconic 1974 horror film, you’ll play as one of the notorious Slaughter family as you seek, track and prevent guests from escaping.
Or, you can take on the role of Ana and Maria’s friends, using your wits and stealth to evade the influence of your family and find the tools you need to achieve freedom. Stealth played a big role in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but “stealth” means a lot of things both offensively and defensively.
The in-game map recreates iconic locations from the 1974 film. These game environments may require different play styles depending on where you are.
Developed by Lexington, KY-based Gun Interactive (shout out to 40502!) and Sumo Nottingham, Texas Chainsaw Massacre will be available in 2023 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.
