Atomic fall – the next big version of Rebellion – has just been released with a brand new gameplay trailer. This post-apocalyptic first-person shooter set in the wonderful world of England has turned many heads with its unique twist on the dangerous world of Fallout (Fallout is a hit, and earlier this year, Fallout: London Fallout: London is also coming to the UK via a fan-made mod), and this depth of gameplay only enhances the intrigue.
The video (which you can watch below) is approximately six minutes long, filled with new footage, and takes us through the world of Atomfall with narration by Jon McNally. You can see some chatting with NPCs, some settlements, and battles with ghouls and large robots. Everything looks great, which is exactly what we needed to get excited about the game.
Atomfall comes from Rebellion, the company currently best known for the Sniper Elite series of games. It’s a UK-based studio, which helps explain why it’s responsible for a new first-person shooter set in the ruins of England. But, they say, the best stories of a place are told by those with roots there. Judging from the video above, the game seems to be in good hands, at least aesthetically.
Atomfall will be released on PC and Xbox consoles in March 2025. It will also be available via Game Pass on day one, which is great news for those who want to try the game but don’t want to spend a fortune. Of course, it’s better for those who already own a sub.
