See, ever since Palworld took off, you might have assumed that its creatures would soon spawn slightly weird-looking merchandise that might (but probably didn’t) have the actual blessing of the game’s creators, like Pokemon’s hordes of critters Been doing that for a few years now. Sorry, but I think you need to actually look at some of these.
Thankfully, the Palworld/Pokemon buzz has died down since its heyday in mid-January, largely thanks to Xbox chatter, and now it’s just one of the games people are playing. Whether you’re busy breeding 2000 Relaxauri or (I don’t know) doing something less, thanks to the power of the internet, there’s always a real-life outfit that makes you feel a little uneasy.

We’ll start with a set of outfits that started my journey into the Palworld clothing universe, discovered by someone on the game’s Reddit subreddit who happened to receive an ad from Chinese retailer AliExpress. Hey, it’s a Grizzbolt, a Cattiva, a Depresso, and an Incineram, all rendered in what appears to be a very tight-fitting human-sized transformation suit.
It’s kind of like a Pokemon onesie you can buy, except you end up looking more like a Power Ranger, since there’s a disturbing lack of anything chunky, which probably helps the cuteness factor more than make up for it. The Incinerator’s face makes it look like you’re either yelling in pain or thinking about eating someone. Not to mention how tiny the Gray Bat’s head is compared to its inspiration.
I’m not quite sure if the costume I found on Ebay is the same as the ones on other sites, but the pictures it provides do give us an idea of how strange it would look to give these friends a hand – the answer is almost as good as giving Sonic The feet given human style are equally unsettling.
I also found similar Grizzbolt clothing sold by a company called Dongguan Rihuanbao Electronics Trading Co., Ltd., which also sells this creepy 3D printed tiger jumpsuit. Why does it come in a six-pack, you ask? I don’t know, and I don’t particularly want to know.
Sadly, the infamous Wish.com clearly needs to play catch-up in terms of weird Palloween (yes, I just came up with that word) costumes, although it does have a Palworld bedspread that will be a hit with anyone who cares to look. Whenever they settle in for the night, the same image appears three times in quick succession.
Finally, this is a Palworld trainer outfit list that only looks to include in-game screenshots of the trainer to illustrate it, rather than, you know, photos of the outfit that actually exists in real life. I don’t think these are the best for dressing up as giant Poké Balls for a party, but they’re definitely worth a laugh.
Just to clarify, as far as I know, although Preview of Palworld card game at the end of January Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe said that as of this writing, no official Palworld merchandise is available yet.
