In March, Balan Wonderworld from Square Enix is set to cause a sensation, but you can get an idea of the title in advance. A playable demo was made available today – also on next-gen platforms.
Square Enix has released a playable demo of the upcoming Balan Wonderworld well before the full version is released. Thanks to this trial version, you should be able to take a look at the charm and magic of the game before it is released on March 26, 2021 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS5, PS4, Switch and PC.
In the demo, three of the twelve magical worlds of Balan Wonderworld are part of the party. A local co-op mode for two players is also supported, so that you can start playing with a friend or family. Thematically, you can take on Negati, play Balan’s scuffle and collect Balan statues together as Leo and Emma. To do this, you have to combine your skills in different costumes and discover new paths that are otherwise not open to single players.
If you play the demo, you can also secure the following bonus costumes for the later full version as a reward:
- Blauschießer – PlayStation 5-/PlayStation 4-Edition
The “Blue Shooter” costume fires blue balls with 〇X symbols that can kill opponents and destroy blocks. - Sternschießer – Nintendo Switch-Edition
- X-Schießer – Xbox Series X|S-/Xbox One-Edition
The “X-Shooter” costume fires shots as glowing, green X-shaped balls that can kill opponents and destroy blocks. - Steam Shooter – Steam Edition
The “Steam Shooter” costume fires bullets in the form of a connected trio of the Valve logo, which can kill opponents and destroy blocks.
In line with the demo release, there is also a new trailer called “True happiness is an adventure”, which shows a selection of 80 costumes and game worlds. You can take a look at this below.
