Dungeons and Dragons Action RPG, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2will return on all platforms this summer.
Following the successful re-release of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance, the remastered sequel with support for resolutions up to 4K is coming to PC (Steam, GOG, EGS), Steamdeck, all Xbox and PlayStation systems, and Nintendo Switch.
Set in and around the city of Baldur’s Gate, the game features five playable characters and classes, as well as the ability to create custom weapons and armor. Through the game, you can use runestones and gems to improve your items, and choose between four difficulty levels.
Classes include barbarians, monks, necromancers, rogues, and priests, each of whom must battle hordes of monsters such as hobgoblins, ghouls, golems, and dragons while dodging attacks and dodging traps.
All versions of the game support local co-op, while the Steam version will support remote play.
If you’ve never played the game before, you can look forward to over 80 levels, hidden areas, hundreds of items to discover, fully voiced characters, hidden characters Drizzt Do’Urden and Artemis Entreri, and more.
No exact release date was provided, but at least we know it’s coming this summer. Those interested can now add Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2 to the platform-specific store.
