Game news Battlefield 2042: DICE fixes one of the title’s biggest bugs
Battlefield 2042 was released a little over two weeks ago and has been overwhelmingly received by critics. Unfortunately, when it was made available there were a number of technical issues that upset players. DICE is working to fix these issues and one of the biggest bugs should be fixed soon.
At launch, Battlefield 2042 suffered from various bugs including collision issues, PC optimization issues, visual issues, and physics engine deviations. Many of the problems have already been fixed in a major patch, but some big bugs still remain
A bug fix eagerly awaited by gamers
The DICE studio is obviously aware of the bugs in their game and is working on correcting them. One of the most important is the one in which a player just appears invisible in the game. An advantage that is of course not acceptable in multiplayer, both for the opponent and for the player himself, who cannot signal himself to his fellow players. Several players have reported this bug to Reddit, and it eventually reached the ears of the developers who responded.
Kevin Johnson, community manager on the forum, pointed out that the invisibility bug should disappear with the next update 3.1. Unfortunately, Kevin Johnson did no output window specified for fix in question, but it is very likely that it will arrive in a couple of days, relying on the release rate of the previous patches.
The franchise’s newest episode, Battlefield 2042, is an FPS only multiplayer takes place in a dystopian future. The United States and Russia are waging a merciless war, playing off each other up to 128 players on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series and 64 players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
