Game news Battlefield 2042 Free This Weekend!
Battlefield 2042 is being made available free of charge for a limited time, a note for fans of the EA Games Shooter license who have not yet experienced the title.
As part of the Free Play Days Xbox deal, the first-person multiplayer shooter Battlefield 2042 is free this weekend. So it is possible to try the adventure for free and survey the universe of a game anchored in a dystopian future in which two nations collide: the United States and Russia. Three game modes are available: All-Out Warfare (128 players on PS5 / Xbox Series, 64 on PS4 / Xbox One), Hazard Zone and Portal Mode.
An offer reserved for Xbox gamers
This is not the first time Battlefield 2042 has been experienced for free since it was released last November. In December 2021, it was PC gamers who were able to browse the title for several days to get an idea of what the latest license has to offer. This time, it’s owners of Xbox Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members who can jump into battle.
And after this free time?
Battlefield 2042 will be available for free until Monday, January 10th at 9:00 p.m. ET. If the test is convincing, discounts are currently being granted on the various digital editions of the game, and two other titles should be of interest to those who want to form a specific opinion before the checkout. In fact, the open-world investigation game The Sinking City and the tactical role-playing game Star Renegades are offered for free under the same conditions. These three very different titles are perfect for this winter weekend that is not very conducive to outdoor pursuits.
