Ray tracing is probably the most well-known sign of the current leap to the next generation, a method of rendering light and image reflections in a more realistic way. “Battlefield 2042” adds ray tracing ambient light occlusi on, which is a method of accurately rendering shadows where light is blocked. Players need a graphics card with ray tracing function to get the full effect.

PC players will also benefit from NVIDIA DLSS, which provides significantly faster performance. Combined with NVIDIA Reflex, which reduces system latency, the PC version of “Battlefield 2042” is expected to be the fastest and smoothest version to date.

The latest trailer of “Battlefield 2042” specifically turns on RTX, so you can enjoy the improvements that a full-power PC brings to the game. This is also a good display of the full scope of the nominal battlefield.

Battlefield 2042 represents a big bet for publisher EA and developer DICE, because the game does not have a single-player campaign, but instead relies on evolving multiplayer storytelling. However, it is not without bumps on the road, as it has been delayed a bit from the initial release date. Nevertheless, it looks like it will be released this year, and you can still pre-order the game now.

“Battlefield 2042” will be released on November 19th and is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
