This morning, as scheduled, the Liquidators mid-season event is on Battlefield 2042. This limited-time event introduces an infantry-only Conquest variant with its own bonus track and exclusive skin.
Unfortunately, DICE had to disable liquidators shortly after going live.
DICE broke the news on Twitter after discovering two major problems with the incident. Players cannot progress or unlock event rewards, effectively invalidating their progress. Another bug doubles down by preventing players from being able to equip what they unlock.
We are temporarily disabling the Liquidator mid-season event.
We’re seeing unlocked rewards and progress for events not being tracked properly, and not being able to be equipped when shown as unlocked.
We’ll follow up once we’re ready to reopen the event. pic.twitter.com/XmyyEN9w35

Needless to say, the campaign must go offline while DICE fixes the root cause. It’s unclear when we can expect it to return, but its first leg should last a week with sessions limited to 8v8. It may be extended, depending on how the situation unfolds.
Liquidators went live with a minor update, version 2.1.1. The update brings some minor fixes and some quality of life tweaks. Expect a bigger patch this season that will bring a rework of the orbital map, as well as new Vault weapons.
