Update 4.0 for Battlefield 2042
While the patch notes will go live early next week, community manager Kevin Johnson shared some expectations Twitter.
On the one hand, Rao and Paik will update their features. Additionally, Sundance has made fixes to their grenade belts that will allow for better capture of anti-armor grenade targets near them rather than “outside the football field”.
The ribbon has been tweaked to make it easier to unlock in modes like Rush, and the XP that supports action and teamwork in the game has also been balanced to ensure teamwork “still reigns.”
Vehicle combat has been balanced, and Bolte has been tweaked in a targeted manner to ensure the infantry/vehicle confrontation game still has some bite.
You can also expect bug fixes for ADS bugs when you leave the vehicle and recover near obstacles.
DICE has been developing the game since its release, fixing various issues and trying to make it more appealing to players who have complained for many, many reasons.
The first season has been delayed until early summer as the studio is working on these extensive fixes to the game.
When the first season arrives, it will mark the start of the year, with the studio promising four seasons, four new experts, new locations, and more.
