Battlefield V continues the war in the Pacific, as DICE has now released the first details for the upcoming Chapter 6 called "In the Jungle". This is the next episode of the shooter's tides-of-war campaign, which is set to kick off on Thursday, February 6, 2020.
Another side of the struggle between the Americans and the Japanese army is presented to you. Fighting takes place in the dangerous primeval forests of the Solomon Islands, which are characterized by dark mangroves, hidden bunkers, rivers and swamps. The corresponding Solomon Islands map is designed for a combination of infantry battles in the jungle and the use of land and water vehicles.
In the course of the new chapter, you can get three new weapons and two gadgets as a reward, namely the Type 11 LMG, the shotgun Model 37, the M2 carbine, the M1A1 Bazooka and the shock mine. With attack specialist Misaki Yamashiro, pilot Steve Fisher and zero pilot Akira Sakamoto, three new elite soldiers are also coming into play.
You get the best equipment by climbing up the chapter rank, which you do by playing Battlefield V as long as the sixth chapter is active. As part of weekly challenges, there are even more rewards such as Chapter XP, customization items, and Chapter Rank levels.
