Another E3, another Bayonetta 3 did not appear. More and more depressed.
But don’t worry, cute Bayonet 3 Still under development, things are going well.
This is based on what Nintendo’s Bill Trinen and Nate Bihldorff said in an interview with Gamespot.
“I can definitely confirm that it still exists,” Bihlfroff said.
“I’ll even go a step further and say that not only does it exist, but it’s going well,” Trienn added. “We like to show when we are ready to show, of course, we also like to show when the developer is ready to show.
“We don’t have it at E3, but please stay tuned.”
As Tom pointed out recently, 1,287 days have passed since the release of Bayonetta 3 on Nintendo Switch. Apart from the usual “still in development” comment, there has been no display or discussion about the game since then.
Platinum recently stated that it hopes to share news about the game this year. Before that, the studio stated that it would “forget our concerns about the game” because the team is still working hard and it has not been cancelled despite the radio silence.
Bayonetta 3 made its debut in 2017 in a trailer played during the Game Awards of that year. However, there does not seem to be much information to accompany the disclosure. The trailer does not provide a release date and only confirms the exclusivity of the Nintendo Switch platform.
