Since the corona virus, which has now spread almost worldwide, has now reached every region on the Chinese mainland, several organizers of e-sports events have taken measures. The Overwatch League has released a statement on Twitter saying that the matches taking place in China were canceled in February and March "to ensure the health and safety of players, fans and employees." Other organizers have taken similar measures.
