Behavior Interactive’s build and raid FPS, meet your creator, arrives tomorrow

Behavior Interactive, the developer best known for the asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight, recently ventured into new territory. In the end, players will receive the fruits of their labor; meet your Creator.

In this post-apocalyptic game, you take on the role of the Guardian of the Chimera, a living experiment created as a last resort to save life on Earth. Your main goal is to build up your base and outwit anyone who dares attack it.

That means creating a series of death traps and customizing your base as much as possible so that anyone up to the challenge can’t actually infiltrate it.

You can then test your raiding skills and even take inspiration from other players’ bases and try to raid their bases and escape successfully. Of course, Meet Your Maker also supports multiplayer, so you don’t need to tirelessly build your base alone; team up with friends to make the most of your base and raid others’ bases.

Personally, the interesting thing about Meet Your Maker is the customization options; your base doesn’t need Rust-like compounds. You could create a “deadly maze” or “bullet hell” and seemingly design some unique bases for players to try and break through. I look forward to seeing what keen players manage to piece together!

Following the launch of Meet Your Maker tomorrow (April 4th), the game’s first major content update is expected to arrive this June. With it, players will be able to travel across the desert and explore the Dread Shores. This will give players a whole new environment to experience and comes with a free cosmetic pack, as well as 4 new game elements that can be unlocked through play or purchase.

Meet Your Maker is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on April 4, 2023. It’s also coming to PlayStation Plus from day one.
